This is a beautifully laid-out park that is regularly maintained perfect for Hastings dog walks. It’s got everything you could wish for in a park: wandering paths, ponds, open spaces, planting and wooded areas perfect for dog walking. There is plenty of free road-side parking alongside the park. This park can get very busy on a hot summers day so I would recommend going early in the morning or in the evening when walking your dog.
Just a short drive from Hastings placed in the countryside; this charming wood gives you lots of pathways to explore with your dog in all directions. This wood is mostly used by dog walkers and never appears to be overly busy. There is a free car park along with road-side parking in laybys down the lane.
What better place for Hastings dog walks than here overlooking Hastings old town, you will find spectacular views overlooking the town and the sea beyond. There are plenty of footpaths to explore while walking your dog in all directions of wonderful open space along with some wooded areas. These sweeping hills and valleys can be steep in places but there are steps in most places to assist you. There is a car park just off of Barley Lane, which charges £2.50, or if you don’t mind walking a little further there is free street parking.
This is a large wood just a short drive from Hastings and perfect for dog walking. Battle Wood gives you the best of both worlds with large open tracks to wander along with smaller trails through the large woodland areas. There is a free main car park here and also nearby parking as there are multiple entrances to the wood. This wood can get busy at peak times.
Situated right in the heart of Hastings, you will find a captivating space to walk your dog. Here you feel as though you have escaped to the countryside for your Hastings dog walks. There are open field spaces along with woodland areas and with a trickling stream running through the middle. This is not the dog walk for you if you are not a fan of hills as most of the land slopes up or down. There is free street parking all around this area situated in amongst quiet housing.
Just a short distance down the coast from Hastings you will find this beautiful space with breathtaking views of the sea. Here can be very steep hills but climbing them is certainly worth it for the picturesque views. There are also flatter footpaths to be found if you remain slightly more inland between the wooded areas and the heath ideal for walking your dog. There is a large car park here but you do now unfortunately have to pay £2.50 to park here.
Located just a short distance from Hastings in Sedlescombe, beyond the football pitches is a lovely open countryside space running alongside the River Brede perfect for dog walking. Through the gate you will find a mostly flat open space ideal for walking your dog. Along with these open spaces, there are a couple of elegantly winding trails amongst the trees and undergrowth.
